I am training to run the Detroit Marathon. I ran it last year with my daughter in just under five hours. How can I train to run more of it and walk less? Any ideas? I am trying to get my base miles up to forty, and then I would like to do a "real" training. I'm gonna be 49 this month. I would like to qualify for Boston in my fifties. Is that a pipe dream?
